AXXIS ULT BRAKE PADS

Axxis ULT Brake Pads, formerly known as Axxis Ultimate, are quickly developing a loyal following in North America because they have one of the highest coefficients of friction of any brake pad available for street use on the market. Anything higher than this is a race pad. Axxis ULT is a reinforced ceramic material which gives you exceptional braking power with little pedal effort and it performs every bit as well at 0°F as at 900°F. This is not a low dust or a long life pad (although it is cleaner and will outlast many O.E. brake pads) and it will be more aggressive on your brake rotors than other Axxis pads, but for performance, it is second to none.

PERFORMANCE GRAPH EXPLANATIONS

Low Noise: Measures degree to which pads cause brake noise – addresses customer’s need for quiet braking. 1 = Brakes are noiseless. 10 = Brakes are unreasonably noisy.

Low Dust: Measures degree to which brake pads keep wheels looking clean – addresses customer’s need to have dust-free wheels. 1 = Wheels are spotless. 10 = Wheels are unreasonably dusty.

Pad Life: Measures expected life of brake pads prior to replacement – addresses customer’s need for reasonable pad life. 10 = More than 60,000 miles. 1 = Less than 3,000 miles.

Rotor Life: Measures expected life of brake rotors prior to replacement – addresses customer’s need for reasonable rotor life. 10 = Longer rotor life. 1 = Excessive immediate wear.

Resistance to Fade (Repeated Stops): Measures decrease in friction over repeated heavy-duty stops as temperature increases – addresses customer’s need for consistent pedal feel. 10 = Friction does not change at all. 1 = Friction decreases to dangerously low level.

High Speed Effectiveness (High Speed Reduction / Stopping): Measures variation in friction level from the Operating Friction Level when stopping at high speeds – addresses customer’s need for consistent pedal feel. 10 = Exactly same as Operating Friction Level. 1 = Measurably lower.

Initial Pedal Feel (Green Friction Level): Measures initial friction level of brake pads when first installed on vehicle – addresses customer’s need for good pedal feel. 10 = High performance (feels great). 1 = Poor performance (too much effort).

Operating Friction Level (Long Term Pedal Feel): Measures typical friction level for bulk of the working life of the brake pad – addresses customer’s need for good pedal feel. 10 = High performance (feels great). 1 = Low performance (too much effort).
