Brakewarehouse.com is very serious about protecting our customer’s personal information.  When you make a purchase using a credit card, we collect your name, your billing address for the card, the card type, number, and expiration date.  We collect this information in order to bill you for your purchase.  Purchases can also be paid by check or money order – for additional details, see Terms and Conditions of Sale.

We also collect information that allows us to ship your order.  This includes the name, address, and phone number of the intended recipient(s).  Additionally, we collect contact information, including e-mail and phone number, in case we need to contact you regarding your order.

Terms and Conditions of Sales and Returns

All parts purchased are warranted to be free of defect and may be returned subject to the manufacturer's warranty.  Returns for other than defects are accepted only within 30 days of purchase.  Non-defective parts must be unused and in original condition.  The part must be returned in its original package and be accompanied by the original receipt or no credit will be issued.  A restocking fee of 15% to 30% will apply to all returns.  If a part is determined to have been used, a credit will not be issued.  Special Order Items and Electrical Components are not returnable. 

All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.  If an incorrect (non-ordered) part is shipped, Brakewarehouse will absorb all expenses associated with the return of the part and provide full invoice credit.

Call Brakewarehouse at 1-800-214-4034 for a Return Authorization Number (RA) and address for return.  Some returns go directly to the manufacturer; call for correct address.  Your credit card will be credited within (72) hours following receipt of the return and determination that the return is acceptable.  If the return is unacceptable for any reason, you will be advised via e-mail.  Please note: "Free Shipping" promotions are contingent upon a completed transaction.  If items are returned that we're purchased during a "Free Shipping" promotion, the customer will be responsible for the original shipping charges and the customer credit will reflect the return of the items minus the restocking fee and shipping charges. 

Refusal of a shipment does not constitute a right to a return or a credit.  Refused shipments and “undeliverable address” shipments that are returned will be charged the original shipping charges AND the return shipping charges AND a 25% restocking fee.

Terms and Condition of Sale are governed by the laws of the State of New York.


Catalog Errors

Brakewarehouse.com's catalog is provided by an outside source and we are not responsible for catalog errors.  This includes product pricing, weights and shipping errors.  If an error is discovered, you will be contacted with the correct pricing and have the opportunity to cancel or continue with the sale.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS — Our catalog is for American-market vehicles and the parts referenced may or may not be appropriate for non-American market vehicles.  We are not responsible for parts for non-American market vehicles.


Shipping and Insurance

Orders shipped by UPS are insured for their actual value up to $100.  Additional insurance is available at the customer's expense.  If desired, please add a note in the comments section of your order or notify us via phone or e-mail.  As many items as possible will be shipped together in order to reduce shipping charges.  All items are shipped UPS Ground, Second Day Air and Next Day Air, at the customer’s option.  All shipping and handling charges will be billed to the customer based upon the method of delivery requested.  The customer will be notified of the total charge of the order, the order number, plus shipping and handling charges, via an e-mail confirmation when the order is processed.  The customer will receive a second e-mail when the order is shipped (generally within two to three business days).  Customer receipt of the order will be dependent upon the shipping option selected.  If items are unable to be shipped due to availability, the order will be cancelled and the customer will be advised via-e-mail.

We periodically run "Free Shipping" Promotions applying to most orders; certain heavy-weight items are excluded from these promotions.

We will only ship to the address associated with your credit card or PayPal account.  If you need to ship to an alternate address, please call Brakewarehouse at 1-800-214-4034 for instructions.


Payment Methods

CREDIT CARD:  We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover, as well as PayPal.  If we are unable to process your credit card for any reason, we will contact you.  If we are unable to contact you within 72 hours, the order will be cancelled.

Core Return Policy


CORE Charges

Some parts require you to return the original part.  In these cases, the price includes a CORE charge noted as such in the item pricing.  Once we receive the original part, per the conditions below, the core charge will be refunded.

PLEASE NOTE:  Return shipment of the core is the responsibility of the customer — you will not be reimbursed for the cost of shipping a core back to us.  Shipping costs for heavy items may exceed the core charge, so please keep this in mind when ordering such items. 

  1. All core returns must be returned in the original manufacturer’s box and include the core tag (if provided with purchase).
  2. Cores must be assembled before being placed in the box.
  3. Cores containing fluids must be drained completely and wrapped in plastic before being placed in the box. 
  4. What you receive is what we expect back.
  5. All core returns must be in rebuildable condition to be accepted for credit.
  6. Core returns must be received within 30 days of purchase.
  7. All core return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
  8. Call Brakewarehouse at 1-800-214-4034 for a Return Authorization Number (RA) and address for return.  NOTECores are returned directly to the manufacturer; call for correct address.
  9. Customer’s credit card will be credited within (72) hours following receipt of the core and determination that the core return is acceptable. 
  10. If the core is in unacceptable condition, you will be advised via e-mail with the reason.


CORE Return Services

Brakewarehouse offers CORE Return Services.  If requested, we will include a prepaid UPS shipping label with your purchase that has the address for your core return.  The credit card used for your purchase will be charged the cost of shipping from your address to the core return location.  To request this service, please call Brakewarehouse at 1-800-214-4034 or email after completing your purchase.
